to join their dynamic team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute your expertise in property accounting, grant management, and financial reporting while working with a mission-driven organization dedicated to improving lives. Over of the Accountant Role: Oversee the month-end close process to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Analyze data from the property management system for accuracy and completeness. Perform account reconciliations to maintain the integrity of financial records. Collaborate with program managers to prepare grant invoices using SharePoint. Review and analyze financial statements to identify discrepancies and opportunities for improvement. Manage the online AP process by reviewing building-related invoices to ensure all information is valid before integrating into the accounting system. Prepare previous reporting for banking as required. Adhere to established accountant procedures, schedules, and due dates to maintain consistency and compliance. Preferred Qualifications for the Accountant : Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required. Previous experience in property accounting and grant accounting is highly desirable. Exceptional accuracy, prioritization, and organizational skills are essential. Background in affordable housing, HUD programs, and multi-entity organizations is a significant plus. Proficient in using accounting software, property management systems, and SharePoint.
