This Accounting Manager role will provide opportunities to grow within their organization as well as parent company. Overview of the Accounting Manager role: The Accounting Manager will report directly to the Controller Oversee the monthly close process, including the preparation and review of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and income statement analysis. Create and maintain monthly reports to compare and analyze actual results against budgets, forecasts, and previous results. Prepare sales and use tax returns. Handle SOX compliance Issue timely and complete financial statements, including balance sheets, cash flow statements, and profit and loss statements. Coordinate the preparation of external monthly, quarterly, and annual reports. Assist external auditors with the annual audit. Coordinate the preparation of income tax returns and provision requests. Assist with the integration of acquisitions. Preferred Qualifications for the Accounting Manager: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or related CPA designation SOX compliance experience Public/private mix Strong analytical skills Must be strong in Excel Open to Senior Accountants ready to make their move into management!
