PRIMARY FUNCTION: We are seeking a reliable and experienced CDL Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a clean driving record, strong time management skills, and a commitment to safety. As a CDL Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining accurate logs.
Position : CDL CLASS B - Bus Driver
Location : Plano ISD Branch
Type : Part Time
Hours: 1:00PM -5:00PM or 2:00PM - 6:00PM
Salary : Starting at $22/hour
Responsibilities: - Safely operate company vehicles, including large trucks and trailers, in accordance with all traffic laws and regulations.
- Transport goods and materials to assigned locations, ensuring on-time delivery.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securement.
- Inspect and maintain vehicles before and after trips, reporting any issues or repairs needed.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, including mileage, hours, and cargo details.
- Communicate with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and updates.
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures during operations.
- Assist in warehouse duties when needed.
Qualifications: - Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) - Class B with the passenger, air brake, and school bus endorsements
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a CDL driver.
- Clean driving record with no major violations.
- Experience with loading, unloading, and securing cargo.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, DOT regulations, and safety standards.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.
