Job Responsibilities
Maintain a fresh and appealing display by checking quality, keeping cases and shelves clean and well stocked, rotating and removing out-of-date products, filling ice tables, and performing other duties as assigned.
Main tain back stock in good order.
Assist with sampling program, keeping sample areas full, clean and appealing.
Clean cases, glass, signs, uprights, coolers, smokers, floors, and drains as required.
Arrive to work station on time, appropriately groomed, dressed and ready to work; work all scheduled shifts and attend required trainings and meetings.
Provide excellent customer service, address needs of customers in a timely and effective manner and model suggestive selling techniques; answer phones and pages promptly and courteously.
Maximize sales potential through effective and proper procedures for prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product.
Follow and comply with established procedures, including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices.
Maintain a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment; maintain equipment in accordance with WFM cleanliness and safety standards.
Perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned; ensure accuracy of signs and pricing.
Immediately report safety hazards and violations.
Perform other duties as assigned by store, regional, or national leadership.

Work Environment
Lift up to 50 pounds.
Stand/walk for 6-8 hours in an 8-hour work day.
Use hands for grasping, manipulating, pushing, and pulling.
Perform bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching motions.
Exposed to FDA-approved cleaning chemicals.
Exposed to temperatures below 32°F, between 32-40°F, and above 90°F.
Work in a wet and cold environment.
Handle knives and other cutting equipment.
Work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Use tools and equipment, including box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery.
