We are seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk who will assist with various tasks related to the distribution and coordination processes, ensuring efficient operations and the timely delivery of products.
Requirements
- Retrieve items to be shipped from inventory per picking tickets generated from sales order entry.
- Promptly notify the appropriate salesperson of any inventory shortages or shipping delays.
- Carefully package and accurately label shipments using the UPS system so that parts arrive intact and at their proper destination. Make sure the packaging is appropriately sealed and has a neat appearance.
- Receive incoming items into the ERP system accurately. Work carefully to ensure accurate attachment of incoming deliveries to system purchase orders.
- Deliver received equipment to the proper department or inventory location accurately and promptly.
- Retrieve blank fans from fan inventory and deliver to the fan department in an accurate and timely manner per machining orders entered by salespeople.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and delivery issues.
- Provide timely feedback to department foreman/manager/salespeople regarding schedule delays and workload issues.
- Provide feedback to the Purchasing Agent / Managers regarding problems with vendors (poor documentation) and shippers.
- Perform regular maintenance on the company equipment and tooling that you use.
- Maintain and secure work tools
- Leave shared equipment and tooling clean, operational, and in its assigned location after use.
- Notify department foreman/manager of equipment, tooling, and material needs in a timely fashion.
- Maintain a clean and well-organized work area.
- Adhere to safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment and compliance with industry standards

Education and Experience -High school Diploma or equivalent
-Previous experience in distribution, coordination, or a similar role.
-Familiar with protocols and practices in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Knowledge of Industrial Parts, Equipment, Manufacturing, and Engineering Services a plus
Work Environment -Industrial Setting
