Position Overview: The objective of this position is to regulate the company's inventory by organizing, tracking, and reporting all incoming and outgoing material, from receipt to the end user. This position is responsible for supporting the planning and tracking of inventory levels to meet company, as well as customer and project, requirements and goals. The Inventory Control Specialist is also responsible for supporting Production Control by allocating and recording outgoing material.
Responsibilities: - Maintain and update company databases with accurate and real-time inventory counts
- Provide support in all inventory activities, including cycle counts
- Maintain an easily accessible and extremely organized inventory area
- Work with Quality Assurance to process and resolve component quality issues
- Interact with operations and technical personnel to expedite inventory checks, requests, and/or issues as necessary
- Anticipate and resolve potential inventory issues under the supervision of the Inventory Supervisor and Materials Manager
- Monitor and report all inventory discrepancies and adjustments
- Assist with issuing job kits to various manufacturing work cells

Requirements: - High School Diploma/GED preferred
- 1-2 years' shipping, inventory or warehouse experience
- 1-2 years' experience with MRP/ERP software systems
- Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stand, stoop, bend, kneel, twist, lift throughout the day for extended periods of time
