The Phantom Works Systems Engineering Integration and Test (SEIT) team is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support development efforts on a proprietary program in Berkeley, MO .
The Senior Systems Engineer applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify complex system and system of systems solutions. Evaluates needs to define system architecture and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces. Develops, maintains and identifies improvements for the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, systems engineering tools, risk management and technology readiness assessment processes. Resolves cross-functional technical issues. Leads system architects, engineering SMEs and other stakeholders in implementing, developing and managing the MBSE tools and techniques.
The ability to work and lead in a collaborative team environment on-site and across engineering disciplines will be imperative to this role. The selected individual will work in a fast paced, innovative environment where excellent technical, organizational, leadership, written and verbal communications skills are essential.
Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Level 4 and 5 Systems Engineer.
Position Responsibilities:
Lead cross-functional engineering teams in developing systems to meet project/program commitments, including support of documentation, deliveries and customer reviews in an Agile environment
Leverage Systems Engineering experience to shape, implement, maintain, and refine the systems engineering approach
Lead the program in implementing MBSE as part of digital engineering to meet customer expectations
Support execution of Phantom Works systems engineering initiatives and advocate for program needs in planning
Guide the integration of systems engineering, particularly MBSE, into the Digital Engineering Ecosystem to establish digital models as an integral part of the technical baseline.
Lead interdisciplinary, collaborative approaches to define and manage complex system architecture
Lead and plan implementation of open architectures in existing and developmental systems
Serve as a Technical Lead Engineer through guiding and coaching less experienced systems engineers
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Travel may be required up to 10% of the time; Domestically and/or Internationally depending on business needs.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
(Level 4) 9+ years of work related engineering experience with a Bachelor’s or 7+ years of work related engineering experience with a Master’s or 4+ years of work related engineering experience with a PhD
(Level 5) 14+ years of work related engineering experience with a Bachelor’s or 12+ years of work related engineering experience with a Master’s or 9+ years of work related engineering experience with a PhD
4+ years’ experience involving one of the following: system architecture development, system requirements, functional decomposition and allocation, integrated design, analysis, or verification
Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range (Level 4): $119,850 - $162,150
Summary pay range (Level 5): $147,050 - $198,950
