Purpose:

A Salesforce Solution Architect is the project leader from the initial client engagement to the final delivery. They are responsible for the overall solution design and implementation of a project from concept to completion. They are experts in the Salesforce ecosystem in purpose as well as functionality with strong client relation capability (they make the complex seem simple).

Responsibilities:

1. Meets with clients to identify project needs
2. Defines the overarching project solution
3. Leads discovery and solution design workshops
4. Works with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to define processes, functional use cases, and user experience
5. Breaks down large scale projects into manageable sprints of development
6. Defines project deliverables and work products for sprint stories
7. Oversees the overall progress on project development
8. Leads decision discussions and recommendations on which Salesforce products to use based on analysis and research
9. Partners on architectural decisions and plans with Technical Architect and Client
10. Leads project implementation and milestone achievements
11. Assures project requirements are delivered according to solution design
12. Responsible for the final configuration and implementation of the intended solution
13. Provides solution and/or platform-specific best practices
14. Responsible for the Solution Design Document

Minimum Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience with Salesforce
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce technology platform
• Understanding of Business Processes and Functional Configuration required
• Understanding of Solution Architecture methodologies and design patterns
• Experience with testing web applications, integrations, and mobile devices
