We are seeking a skilled Enterprise Data Scientist to drive cutting-edge data analysis and create solutions for complex clinical and business challenges. In this role, you will utilize advanced statistical, mathematical, and computational techniques to analyze diverse datasets, uncover insights, and identify opportunities for breakthroughs in clinical and operational settings.
Your role will focus on designing, developing, and deploying sophisticated quantitative models and tools, while collaborating with various departments across the organization to understand their needs and provide actionable solutions. The ultimate aim is to enhance both clinical and financial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead AI/ML Strategy : Design and implement a roadmap to drive the organization’s AI maturity toward a transformative state.
- Establish AI Ethics : Develop and maintain guidelines for ethical AI practices for embedded and custom-built models across the organization.
- Data Science Leadership : Drive AI/ML initiatives by developing, deploying, and managing predictive and prescriptive solutions using advanced analytics models.
- MLOps Expertise : Own the lifecycle management of AI/ML models and tools, ensuring they remain effective and relevant.
- Clinical Data Solutions : Work with structured, semi-structured, and unstructured clinical data to create tools using NLP, GenAI, and LLM technologies, improving patient care.
- Model Performance Auditing : Create processes to assess and ensure the performance and accuracy of developed models.
- Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration : Engage with clinicians, researchers, and stakeholders to understand their domain-specific needs and translate them into computational solutions.
- Automate Business Processes : Develop AI/ML-driven solutions that streamline workflows and business processes.
- Stay at the Forefront of Innovation : Keep up to date with the latest developments in deep learning and neural networks, ensuring our models are on the cutting edge.
- Training and Development : Design and deliver educational materials and training to help end users understand how to leverage advanced tools for business decision-making.
- Mentor and Guide : Lead the development of the Data Science team by mentoring colleagues on best practices and emerging technologies.
Qualifications:
Required Education : Master’s degree in applied mathematics, computer science, engineering, statistics, or a related field.
Experience:
- 7+ years of experience in Machine Learning/AI tools and technologies.
- Proficiency in Python or R and SQL (7+ years).
- 5+ years working within a healthcare setting.
- Expertise with unstructured data and big data.
- Hands-on experience with open-source ML libraries such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, and Numpy.
- Familiarity with foundation models and fine-tuning or RAG.
- Experience in data management, BI, data warehousing, ETL, and data governance concepts.
- Cloud technology experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Preferred Skills:
- Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and integrity.
- Previous healthcare experience (5+ years).
