The Business Systems Analyst plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between IT and business needs. The role is also responsible for all Software functionality and operability within the Manufacturing, Packaging, Shipping, Scheduling, and Purchasing departments of Marich Confectionery Company.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Review and ensure proper functioning of all Operations software, specifically the INFOR Syteline ERP and INFOR Birst Reporting.
- Collaborate with INFOR Syteline users and assist in improving overall ERP functionality.
- Liaise and collaborate with INFOR Consultants and other external experts and advisors, as needed.
- Evaluate costs and benefits of potential software upgrades and new software acquisitions.
- Assist Operations users with general software and/or systems issues. Coach new and existing users in the use of INFOR Syteline and other software, as requested.
- Manage all software upgrades, testing, and implementation.
- Perform other company-wide IT and project related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree : A bachelor's degree in fields like computer science, information technology, or a related discipline.
Relevant Work Experience : 2-3 years of experience in Business analysis or a related role.
Technical Skills : Proficiency in areas like network management, cybersecurity, and software troubleshooting.
Problem-Solving Skills : Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
Communication Skills : Effective communication with non-technical staff to explain complex issues.
- Certified Data Professional (CDP)
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Other certifications like CompTIA A+, Network+, and Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) can also be beneficial.
- Experience working at a manufacturing facility.

Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
This position involves working in a temperature-controlled office environment with standard office hours. However, occasional visits to the food manufacturing plant may be required, where employees must adhere to strict safety and hygiene protocols.
Pay Range
The target salary range for this position is $75,000-$80,000/annually. The actual rate offered will depend on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, years of relevant experience. This role is also eligible for an annual incentive bonus plan.
