State of Play has created and operates several category-leading concepts in the US and UK, including Bounce, Hijingo, and Flight Club (under license in North America). All of the group’s concepts offer design-led, immersive environments, upscale food and beverage programs, as well as highly engaging gameplay.

Position Purpose: In this position, you will be responsible for driving the growth of our digital journey. As the Digital Marketing Director, you will play a critical role in leading and building our fast-growing company website and conversion strategy. You will be responsible for the entire digital journey, from the first visit to the website all the way through the welcome email before a guest visits. You will be responsible for all facets of digital marketing, including, but not limited to, website, email, and SEO.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the website is visually pleasing and easy to navigate for Flight Club, AceBounce, and State of Play Hospitality.
  • Develop a high-converting web journey.
  • Lead paid media efforts while driving strong results and KPIs.
  • Optimize SEO, including site architecture, technical foundation, keyword support, and editorial content.
  • Support domestic growth through site development.
  • Plan and implement data-driven testing to optimize and personalize the web experience.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure the most up-to-date information.
  • Develop a plan to grow opt-in databases for email and drive viewership on websites.
  • Continuously innovate to find new ways to connect with and motivate guests.
Requirements & Minimum Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience managing digital marketing. Experience in “eatertainment” is a plus.
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and executing digital marketing plans from conception to implementation.
  • Ability to lead within a fast-paced environment and deliver amidst demanding timelines. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Experience sourcing and maintaining web platforms.
  • Experience with managing all digital/web legal requirements.
