Job Summary:
We are seeking a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to support our client in San Francisco, CA. This hybrid contract role will be instrumental in aligning HR strategies with business objectives, fostering a high-performance culture, and supporting employees and leadership across various HR functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a strategic HR advisor to business leaders, providing guidance on workforce planning, organizational development, and talent management.
- Manage employee relations, addressing concerns, conducting investigations, and ensuring a positive and compliant work environment.
- Partner with hiring managers and talent acquisition teams to support recruitment efforts and ensure alignment with business needs.
- Oversee performance management programs, coaching managers on best practices for feedback, career development, and succession planning.
- Ensure compliance with California labor laws, industry-specific regulations, and company policies, mitigating risks and promoting HR best practices.
- Support HR initiatives related to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), employee engagement, and retention strategies.
- Analyze HR metrics and provide insights to drive data-driven decision-making.
- Lead change management efforts to support organizational growth and workforce transitions.
- Assist in the implementation and communication of HR policies, procedures, and benefits programs.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of HRBP or HR Generalist experience.
- Strong knowledge of California employment laws and regulatory requirements.
- Proven experience handling employee relations, workforce planning, and performance management.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence key stakeholders.
- HR certifications (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) are a plus.
