What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Gather requirements and document them for operational analytics layer buildout
- Utilize strong SQL skills for data analysis, mapping, profiling, and validation
- Apply healthcare claim domain knowledge to work with pending claims, member, and provider data
- Collaborate with team to develop solutions for building out the Operational Analytics Layer (OPAL)
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify and address issues
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 6+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst
- Strong experience with healthcare claim data and domain knowledge
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with Snowflake platform preferred
- Extensive experience with requirement gathering, documentation, and Agile methodology
- Problem-solving mindset and excellent communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Grievance and Appeal data process
- Previous experience working at a payor organization
- Familiarity with data mapping, data profiling, and documentation
- Ability to contribute to solutioning and providing innovative ideas
- Strong technical acumen and ability to work with complex projects
