Metric is proud to be partnered with a leading manufacturer of Industrial Automation equipment. With approximately 500 employees, this company is expanding rapidly and looking to build out their application engineer department.
About the role:
As an Application and Technical Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support to Channel Partners, Customers, and Sales Managers. During the initial phase of the role, you will be trained on their products and develop a strong understanding of their customer base.
This is a great opportunity to establish yourself as a subject matter expert in a growing market.
You do not need to have prior Application Engineer experience - preference is towards individuals with a low ego and eagerness to develop their career.
Responsibilities:
- Review customer questions or concerns and provide technical resolutions.
- Provide technical support to various partners pre, during, and post sales.
- Define products for applications.
- Drive key application areas to help support business growth.
Qualifications:
- Experience with industrial machinery or similar scope.
