Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Customs Clerical Assistant to support the customs department in ensuring compliance with all regulations, managing documentation, and coordinating the movement of goods through customs efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
-Data Entry and Filing: Accurately input and update data into the system, ensuring timely and correct filing of import/export records.
-Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date customs documentation for audits, reporting, and compliance purposes.
-General Support: Provide administrative support to the customs team and assist in other tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
Bi-Lingual
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with customs software or databases is a plus.
Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
