**Responsibilities**

- Understand and implement all safety rules and policies on a daily basis

- Troubleshoot after molding process problems

- Monitor machine/operator productivity to reduce downtime and meet expectations

- Ensure excellent quality product on assigned machines

- Maintain a safe working environment

- Effectively communicate machine, tooling, and quality problems

- Develop a team environment on the shop floor

- Participate in on-going training programs

- Perform Inspector/Packer and/or Material Handler duties as necessary

- Perform other duties assigned

- Follow applicable Food Safety and cGMP policies

**Qualifications**

- High School diploma or GED

- Basic mechanical skills

- Effective oral and written communication skills

- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

- Basic computer skills

- Basic knowledge of manufacturing software and order processing systems

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk; hear. The employee is frequently required to climb or balance and stoop or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
