About the role :
As a CBRE Data Center Sr. Manager, you will manage the team responsible for providing expert preventative maintenance and repair services to a large Data Center client.
This job is part of the Critical and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for technical maintenance services in critical client environments
What you’ll do:
- Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees.
- Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.
- Point of contact for the client while working with key stakeholders to meet all MSA requirements.
- Confirm completion of configuration management, work orders, preventative maintenance, and repairs within the agreed SLA timeframe.
- Resolve unforeseen circumstances that occur and inform the client or executive management when needed.
- Verify facility infrastructure equipment installations are within the agreed SLA timeframe.
- Oversee Information Technology equipment power installations, relocation and decommission requests.
- Check daily routine cleanup of the data halls and review findings. Present overview to client and manager as needed.
- Confirm all advanced deployments are installed to applicable internal, manufacturer, and industry standards.
- Prepare Method Statements and Risk Assessments and present to executive management.
- Apply a broad knowledge of the business, own subject area, and how own field integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.
- Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence others to adopt a different point of view while being guided by policies and departmental plans.
- Identify and solve technical and operational problems of complexity.
- Understand and recognize the broader impact across the department.
- Improve and change existing methods, processes, and standards within job subject area.
