Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Solution Architect with 8-10 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing network solutions that meet our business needs. This role involves collaborating with vendors and internal teams to deliver reliable and scalable network architectures . The requirement for this role is to visit 2 days on site in Bridgeton, NJ.

Position Responsibilities Design and implement network solutions tailored to business requirements, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security. Conduct network assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement and optimization. Collaborate with Systems Engineering and Telecom teams to ensure network design is met to support those teams’ platforms. Lead cabling optimization projects, ensuring compliance with industry cabling standards and best practices. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to define project scope and objectives. Provide technical leadership and support throughout the project lifecycle, from initial planning through implementation. Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, providing expert guidance and solutions. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance service offerings. Create and maintain detailed documentation of network designs, configurations, and changes. Provide training and support to internal teams as necessary. Maintain and optimize network performance

Position Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. 8-10 years of proven experience in network architecture and design, with a strong focus on both enterprise wired and wireless networks. Expertise in networking technologies, including LAN/WAN, VPNs, firewalls, and advanced wireless solutions (e.g., Wi-Fi 6, mesh networking). Experience with migration/refresh projects from one platform to another (e.g, Cisco to Arista or Cisco to Aruba etc.) Proficiency with network management and monitoring tools (e.g., Arista, Aruba,

Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet). Solid understanding of network security protocols and practices. Familiarity with cloud networking solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure) and hybrid environments is a plus. Exceptional problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to managing network performance. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively. In-depth knowledge of cabling standards and experience leading cabling optimization projects. Strong understanding of Layer 1 network technologies (cabling, connectors, fiber, wireless, etc.) Ability to work independently and as part of a team Cisco CCNA, CompTIA Network+, CCNP Enterprise, CCDE Experience with network monitoring tools (Orion, MRTG, SmokePing) Knowledge of Linux operating system Knowledge of VMWare, Windows server environment is a plus. Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Teams, and Teams Rooms Experience with Cloud VoIP, Load balancers, ClearPass (or other NAC), IP conferencing solutions, network management tools, and various network technologies (OSPF, BGP, SPB, VXLAN, MPLS, SDWAN)
