Job Details

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect mechanical components and assemblies using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM). Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications to verify compliance. Identify defects, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. Develop and monitor quality control systems and procedures. Perform audits to ensure adherence to ISO 9001 and other industry standards. Support calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment.

Qualifications:

Degree or certification in Mechanical Engineering, Quality Assurance, or related field (or equivalent experience). Experience in quality control within a mechanical or manufacturing environment. Proficiency in precision measuring instruments and interpreting mechanical drawings. Strong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills. Knowledge of SPC, Lean manufacturing, and quality management software is a plus. Preferred: ASQ Certified Quality Technician or Certified Mechanical Inspector.
