Urgently Hiring Maintenance Mechanic Job Description As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for following the requirements of the calibration and preventative maintenance system, repairing and maintaining all manufacturing equipment according to standard operating procedures (SOPs), and changing laminator tooling and setting up packaging equipment. You will assist machine operators during setup and production runs by troubleshooting laminator and packaging equipment, performing routine preventative maintenance, calibration, and facilities work as needed, completing all required training, and providing recommendations for process improvements.
Responsibilities - Follow the requirements of the calibration and preventative maintenance system.
- Troubleshoot and repair packaging equipment, conveyor systems, etc
- Repair and maintain all manufacturing equipment according to SOPs.
- Assist machine operators during setup and production runs by troubleshooting laminator and packaging equipment.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance, calibration, and facilities work as needed.
- Complete all required training.
- Provide recommendations for process improvements.
- Maintain cleanliness of the Tech shop and Technical areas of the Cleanroom.
- Help out with general building maintenance tasks as needed (e.g., hanging a shelf, painting, taking out the trash).
Essential Skills - Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Experience with preventive maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment.
- Knowledge of mechanical components and systems.
- Ability to analyze, diagnose, and solve process problems on converting, packaging, and support equipment.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $33.00/hr.
