This role will be responsible for providing finance support and partnership to manufacturing and operational leadership throughout the organization structure including affiliated business units.


You will participate in directing the accounting team and work closely with operations, engineering, R&D, warehouse & logistics teams both collaboratively & cross-functionally to support successful operational and financial performance. Key activities are strategic decision-making analysis, and managing effective and efficient product costing, performance forecasting, reporting processes.

We are seeking an exceptional strategic and visionary DIRECTOR OF HUMAN RESOURCES driving organizational excellence, balancing employee needs with business objectives to create effective solutions. As the director of culture and people you will support both the employees and management. The candidate will need to have a wide range of competencies within the HR function.


The DIRECTOR OF HUMAN RESOURCES provides executive-level leadership and guidance to the organization’s HR operations. The Director is responsible for setting, applying, and evaluating legally compliant policies, procedures, and identifying and implementing long-range strategic talent management goals. As the Director of People, the candidate presents the organization’s culture in a friendly and team building environment, fostering a culture that inspires employee commitments to the company Mission and Core values.


What you will do:

  • Strategic HR Leadership: Collaborate with the senior leadership team in developing and executing the HR strategy in support of the company's overall business plan and strategic direction, ensuring people and culture are part of all business decisions. Provide strategic thought leadership and counsel to the senior leadership team on key organizational and management issues.
  • Talent Acquisition: Lead and improve our talent recruitment and retention to create a robust talent pipeline and "deep bench" for the organization as we grow. Cultivate an employer brand in the marketplace that draws top-tier candidates and ensures outstanding hiring and onboarding experiences for every applicant.
  • Employee and Career Development: Design, implement, continuously strengthen, and provide guidance for talent development, succession planning, and ongoing and annual performance management and goal-setting programs that nurture, develop, and retain our talent.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Oversight of Payroll and willing to perform payroll functions as may be necessary.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Develop and administer total rewards packages that care for the "whole person", including compensation, benefit, and employee incentive programs. Ensure compensation and benefits programs are right-sized and relevant to wage, salary, and incentive survey data to ensure the company's total compensation programs are competitive and on-brand while still meeting the practical needs of the business.
  • Management Partner: Develop strong collaborative relationships throughout the organization at all levels to deliver value-added HR services including management coaching, guidance, and strategic thought partnerships to grow the business.
  • Culture and Engagement: Champion initiatives that promote a positive workplace culture, driving employee engagement and satisfaction. oversee employee relations (dispute resolution, administering disciplinary actions, providing counseling services, and responding to employee concerns), and employee investigations as required.
  • HR Leadership and Mentorship: Lead, develop, and nurture the Human Resources team and provide a roadmap for career growth and development to support the expanding business. Provide day-to-day management, coaching, and professional development opportunities.
  • Compliance and Legal Oversight: Ensure adherence to all local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations, managing legal matters, compliance training, corporate insurance, and risk management in collaboration with external counsel as needed.
  • HR Operations: Ensure all HR functions, including but not limited to recruiting, compensation, payroll, HRIS systems design and administration, benefits, LOAs, accommodations, Worker's Compensation/safety, compliance, performance management, learning, and development are adhered to all applicable regulations and delivered with excellence.
  • What will make your successful:

    • Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field to be considered for the role.
    • At least 10 years of human resource management experience, with strategic, talent management, and/or business development experience is highly preferred.
    • Manufacturing and Distribution and process-oriented Industries highly preferred.
    • Significant experience with non-exempt roles
    • Must have prior payroll experience to be considered for role.
    • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP strongly preferred.
    • Strong preference with Spanish speaking but not required.
    • Proficient in using Payroll Software, HR systems, Benefit Software, Applicant Tracking Systems, etc.
    • Innovation to inspire new ideas, concepts, and strategies.
    • Positive attitude, passionate about HR deliverables, inviting and interactive personality with the appropriate technical skills. “Attitude Matters”
    • Intermediate Excel Skills with strong writing and communication skills.
    • Ability to go the extra mile with an ambitious drive and understanding that great things take time, energy, and persistent hard and smart work.
    • You must be a team builder and collaborator and an individual that possess BOTH the people and culture development skills as well as the analytical and technical skills required for the function.
    • Must have strong payroll background.
    • Acumen to oversee the resolution of complex employee relations challenges with creative and strategic solutions.
    • Develops Talent Management initiatives to source, recruit, and retain top talent. Willing to be a “hunter” searching for candidates on platforms vs. just downloading resumes. As a recruiter you are tasked with finding the resources necessary to support the organization’s requirements.

    Pay: $145,000.00 - $160,000.00 Base per year + Annual Discretionary Bonus Pay


    Our compensation range is based dependent on your education, certification and experience level.
