Job Purpose The Tax Manager will be responsible for supporting facilitation and management of the Company's federal and state tax returns and assisting with the companies' Sales Tax liability and filings working with a cross-functional team.
Base Salary $110K to $130K
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Performs thorough review of S-Corp, Partnership, Composite, Pass-Thru Entity, and miscellaneous tax returns.
- Collaborates with business stakeholder executives, Legal and Finance to coordinate strategic tax planning.
- Assists in preparation & review of tax estimates.
- Responds to IRS & State tax notices.
- Oversees registrations of companies in various state/city jurisdictions pertaining to employee, sales tax and more.
- Ensures compliance with all state business sales tax, business license, and secretary of state requirements.
- Identifies and develops solutions for complex tax issues
- Works closely with business stakeholders, legal and finance and 3rd party tax consultants.
Qualifications & Skills- 3 - 5 Years working in Accounting firm or Corporate Tax experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Excellent knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance and all types of tax returns.
