We are a growing CPA firm currently seeking candidates to provide support to managers and principals which includes assisting with tax planning, preparing compiled financial statements, small business accounting, and researching technical tax issues. Individuals in this position will need to demonstrate an understanding of, and effectively use current tax and accounting software applications when completing engagements, special projects, and prioritizing workflow and managing multiple deadlines within the required time constraints. What type of work would you do:

• Manage multiple high level tax engagements
• Formulate and deliver innovative tax planning, strategy and client service
• Identify and capitalize on business opportunities with our current client base and network to attract new clients to the firm
• Work with staff to ensure individual and business tax returns are completed correctly and by the required deadline
• Look at tax situations from various angles to ensure the maximum tax benefit is applied
• Perform research on tax topics and analyze/draw conclusions
• Lead, develop and mentor team members

You are the right fit if:

• You have Bachelor's degree in Taxation, Accounting or related field
• You hold an active CPA license
• You have a minimum of five years of relevant work experience with public accounting experience preferred
• You have experience with accounting software systems (e.g. QuickBooks, Thomson Reuters products) and are proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
• You have prior supervisory experience
• You can work with high level clients and review tax returns
• You are willing to be involved in business development and community involvement
• You understand a business owner with entrepreneur mindset
• You truly care about delivering exceptional customer service to our clients
• You are able to be involved in coaching employees and career development
• You enjoy keeping up-to-date on the ever-changing tax industry's regulations and policies

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds; stand or sit for extended periods of time, as well as type/enter data at a keyboard regularly.
