Section Manager I to join our
Water/Wastewater Team at either our
Winter Springs or Tampa, FL location
YOUR IMPACTClean and safe water and wastewater management is vital for every community's well-being. CHA delivers environmentally friendly and cost-effective water, wastewater and stormwater projects. We offer full engineering and support services for industrial and municipal systems from initial planning through permitting, design, bidding, construction administration, start-up, certification, and ongoing operational assistance.
The Section Manager is an important technical leadership role at CHA that leads an effective and productive team of technical professionals. A Section Manager's success is measured by their team's technical quality, achieving team utilization targets, engaging, and motivating their team to go above and beyond, and effective management of project budgets. The Section Manager organizes, directs, and coordinates activities associated with the project scope of work either individually or collectively with their team.

REQUIREMENTS- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering required
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Minimum 4 years' experience required; previous project or team management experience preferred
- Ability to demonstrate technical proficiency in his/her respective discipline
- Technically astute and strategic in thinking to manage the activity within the team
- An articulate and persuasive communicator, both one-on-one and in front of large groups
- A high energy, results-oriented, resourceful leader
- Ability to resolve matters timely and lead projects to completion with a sense of urgency
- Ability to inspire, motivate, build and manage relationships across the company
- Experience with project budgeting preferred
- Demonstrates a basic understanding of accounting processes
- Demonstrates knowledge of the discipline's technical processes
SALARY RANGE:$97,000 - $110,000
Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
