Rockstar Games is seeking an experienced Associate Principal Product Manager to help us deliver world-class web experiences to new and returning players. This full-time role is an amazing opportunity to contribute to the platform that connects millions of players across the globe with our live-service gaming experiences, including Grand Theft Auto Online and Red Dead Online.
In this role, you will help us create, communicate, and execute our vision for our web applications and the technologies that power them. You will think through complex workflows, break them down into straightforward requirements, and prioritize those requirements effectively. Whether it's through documentation, roadmaps, presentations, or direct feedback, you will work closely with our development and publishing teams to deliver the right solution at the right time. You will also drive the strategies that ensure our web products can scale to support more users and more integrations. This is a full-time, in-office position based out of Rockstar's NYC headquarters in Downtown Manhattan.
WHAT WE DO- We manage the technology platform that powers Rockstar Games' web portals and applications, empowering stakeholders to deliver world-class web experiences.
- We increase the reach and capabilities of promotional experiences delivered through rockstargames.com.
- We create and maintain high-impact, game-connected features for our live-service titles' websites (e.g. Grand Theft Auto, Red Dead Redemption).
RESPONSIBILITIES- Champion our Web Platform: demonstrate our products/services, advocate for new usages, and share product insights with internal stakeholders.
- Communicate the Big-Picture: distill complex ideas into compelling messages that inspire confidence and alignment in our product strategies.
- Execute on Multiple Products: command a deep understanding of the products in our web portfolio and deliver roadmaps that maximize synergies between them.
- Advocate for our Web Users: collaborate with leadership, stakeholders, and other teams to transform bold concepts into refined, well-scoped, player-first features.
- Inform Creative Priorities: partner with Marketing, Design, and Analytics teams to maximize the value of Rockstar Games' web presence.
- Influence Development Priorities: convert product strategies into actionable initiatives and prioritized backlogs that are aligned with company goals.
- Oversee the Go-To-Market Plan: maintain the documentation, tutorials, and support materials that enable web stakeholders to effectively understand and support our products.
QUALIFICATIONS- 12+ years of experience managing products and features built to serve marketing, customer support, or community management functions.
- 2+ years of experience leading executive reporting on behalf of a product team.
- Extensive knowledge of web applications, mobile apps, and/or the content management systems and services used to power them.
- Experience partnering with business, engineering, and design leads to build a constant pipeline of features.
- Experience defining KPIs and using OKRs to align team goals with the organization's goals.
- Experience managing external partner integrations and external vendor relationships.
SKILLS- Effective at driving cross-functional collaboration with limited supervision.
- Knack for influencing stakeholders across a variety of orgs - without explicit authority.
- Ability to identify and analyze data that is critical to understand trends, patterns, and opportunities.
- Proficiency in researching user behavior, needs, and pain points.
- Aptitude for working iteratively to support evolving stakeholder visions.
- Passion for finding and creating superior end-to-end experiences.
- Outstanding communication and leadership skills.
- Excellent coordination and planning skills.

- Avid gamer with a passion for Rockstar Games titles.
- Certified Scrum Product Owner or similar product-focused certification.
- Passion for bringing people together through online games.
- Hands-on experience shaping backend web technologies into a product.
- Previous experience managing a product with 1M+ WAU.
- Proficiency in tools like Google Analytics, Optimizely, Mixpanel, or other data analytics platforms.

The pay range for this position in New York State (inclusive of New York City) at the start of employment is expected to be between the range below* per year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
