Rockstar is on the lookout for talented Security Project Manager who possess a passion for protecting intellectual property and the company at large from cybersecurity threats. This is a full-time, in-office position based out of Rockstar's NYC headquarters in Downtown Manhattan.
WHAT WE DO - The Rockstar Security team is responsible for ensuring the technical infrastructure that supports the business is secured from data disclosure, destruction/corruption, and denial-of-service.
- We foster a security culture across all teams and disciplines at Rockstar, providing policy, standards, guidance, and awareness training to everyone.
- Work closely with departments across the company to understand their needs and help ensure they are following the best security practices.
- We work with technology stakeholders to assess our posture, build controls, and mitigate security risks.
- Our team is on the front-line of monitoring, detecting, and responding to security related incidents.
RESPONSIBILITIES - Lead and manage security projects throughout their lifecycle, from initiation to closure, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including security analysts, developers, IT and stakeholders, to define project requirements, objectives, and deliverables.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and track progress using project management tools and techniques.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies, and escalate as necessary to ensure timely resolution.
- Communicate project status, updates, and outcomes to stakeholders, including senior management, clients, and team members.
- Stay abreast of the latest security trends, threats, and technologies, and apply best practices to project execution.
QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Proven experience with 3+ in project management, preferably in the Security domain.
- Strong understanding of Security principles, technologies, and methodologies.
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CISSP, CISM) are a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
SKILLS - Must be organized and detail oriented.
- Must have excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) and communication tools.
- An intrinsic sense of ownership, initiative, and drive.
- Effectively manage time and be adaptable to shifting priorities.

The pay range for this position in New York State (inclusive of New York City) at the start of employment is expected to be between the range below* per year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
