Description We are seeking candidates with Windows and Linux administration skills to perform testing, implementing, deploying, maintaining, and administering cyber systems or networks and their infrastructure hardware and software. Duties may include protecting, configuring and managing servers and computers systems, installing software and system patches, troubleshooting and maintaining integrity, and improving reliability and security. Successful candidates are teamed with the Information Assurance organization to support multiple programs performing a wide range of engineering disciplines.
Primary Responsibilities
- Design, build, integrate, harden, deploy, and maintain bare metal and virtual clients, servers, and networked systems.
- Develop solutions to complex technical issues that impact multiple IT disciplines.
- Effectively use automated hardening and scanning tools such as Ansible and Nessus.
- Perform system analysis for purposes of performance optimization, catastrophe mitigation, and security compliance.
- Collaborate with software developers to ensure systems meet functional requirements.
- Support IT security activities to include security compliance reviews and auditing requirements.
- Perform software configuration management using software development repositories.
Basic Qualifications
- Experience administering Windows, Linux, Networking/Switch, and Virtualized Machines
- Possess or ability to obtain a security+ 8570 certification with 6 months employment.
- Bachelor of Science in Technical field and at least 4 years of relevant work experience, or a master's with 2-6 years of experience.
- Additional year's experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Active DoD SECRET clearance.
- Experience implementing NIST 800-53 controls families.
- Experience with core infrastructure services administration such as AD, DNS, DHCP, and File Server administration.
- Experienced in deploying Operating System images in a variety of mediums (PXE-network, disk image, automated installation media with answer scripts).
- Ability to create simple Linux and PowerShell scripts to automate repetitive tasks.
- Ability to collaborate within a team and independently with minimal supervision.
- Perform research necessary to resolve complex technical problems
Preferred Qualifications
- Experienced in building and deploying DevSecOps systems.
- Experienced in deploying Multifactorial Authentication Systems.
Linux+, LPIC 1 or equivalent.

Pay Range: Pay Range $101,400.00 - $183,300.00
