Who You AreThe mission of Justworks' Product Marketing team is to deliver the right product to the right audience using the right message. We love using products as a vehicle to represent the voice of the customer and foster strategic innovation by translating our deep understanding of customer and market needs into product opportunities.
We're looking for a seasoned Product Marketing leader with experience in go-to-market strategy and a history of driving cross-sell, upsell, and customer marketing efforts to support our benefits offering across the Justworks portfolio.
As a Sr. Manager on the Product Marketing team, you will work with our Benefits product team to bring new benefits, features, and services to prospective and existing customers. You'll be responsible for leading go-to-market strategy for Benefits products and features at various stages of maturity and across multiple platforms (Justworks PEO, Justworks Payroll, and Justworks International) and building relationships with different stakeholders. You'll help identify product-market fit, target personas, and define initial messaging and positioning to articulate our value. You'll also set the foundation for how we increase benefits adoption through customer marketing tactics, inclusive of product-led cross and upsell motions and sales enablement. This role is ideal for a Product Marketer passionate about understanding complex products and translating to communicate with non-technical / non-expert stakeholders.
Additionally, in this role, you'll be a key member of the Product Marketing leadership team, helping to shape and scale the function as it grows. You'll be responsible for owning and scaling core Product Marketing processes and operations across departments and multiple product lines, leveling up the team in terms of skill sets and best practices, setting the overarching vision and goals for the team, and ensuring the voice of the customer and market are integrated into everything we do.
Your Success ProfileWhat You Will Work On- Lead high-performing teams of Product Marketing Managers across multiple product domains. You'll mentor your teams to improve their skills and empower them. You'll create psychological safety and a culture of belonging, learning, and growth
- Lead your team to execute go-to-market strategies that drive ongoing product and feature adoption, revenue growth, and retention
- Work alongside Product leadership to shape the product strategy and priorities for your product domains
- Apply buyer, segment, and go-to-market expertise to develop the end-to-end marketing strategy/business plan addressing selected buyer groups/cohorts
- Bridge the gap between Justworks' corporate-level strategy and the product strategy for your domains, ensuring Product Marketing initiatives and investments thoughtfully align with overarching business goals
- Identify opportunities to drive differentiated value propositions for our customers and product-driven growth via build/buy/partner recommendations.
- Assist and maintain overall processes and operations for the Product Marketing department in partnership with the director of Product Marketing and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Guide your team to be strong customer advocates and to leverage market, competitive, and customer insights to influence our product direction and go-to-market strategy
- Develop go-to-market product launch strategies with colleagues in marketing, product management, and revenue enablement to deliver high-impact, integrated stories resulting in increased engagement and product adoption
- Work closely with the Sales, Customer Support, and Marketing teams to identify key cross and upsell opportunities.
- Guide your team to set, measure, and report on Product and Marketing KPIs and metrics that ladder up to Justworks' overall strategy and outcomes
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications- You have a minimum of 7 years of work experience in Product or Customer Marketing for tech/software products, preferably B2B
- You have experience working in the Benefits domain, ideally with Medical/Dental/Vision offerings and/or differentiated benefits.
- You have a minimum of 4 years of experience leading and building high-performing Product Marketing teams
- You have strong analytical skills; you excel at synthesizing market, competitive, and customer insights into clear takeaways and recommendations
- You are a strong communicator and storyteller, communicating concepts and ideas in different formats depending on the need, and revising your approach.
- You can craft high-impact marketing plans with clearly defined value propositions and product messaging
- You have experience working in a fast-paced, startup environment
- You have a product mindset and track record of working well with and earning the respect of product teams
- Knowledge or experience in HR space a plus
The base wage range for this position based in our New York City Office is targeted at $190,000.00 - $218,500.000 per year.
