The Sr. Account Manager plays a crucial role in our sales team, primarily focusing on maintaining and growing relationships with our established clients. The Sr. Account Manager is a proactive and results-driven individual with excellent communication and organizational skills. The role is responsible for understanding client needs, ensuring customer satisfaction, and identifying opportunities to sustain and expand our business. This role will be dedicated to one client headquartered in the Pittsburgh area.
Responsibilities - Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
- Develop the account strategy for assigned clients in accordance to the budgeted spend projections
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, addressing their inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Develop a deep understanding of client business needs and objectives
- Determine customer requirements including design considerations, quality, price, and delivery.
- Provide clients with regular updates on product enhancements and new offerings
- Ensure timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to client needs and objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of client projects
- Monitor and analyze client performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement
- Perform administrative tasks such as system maintenance and ensuring invoice accuracy
- Sporting Goods experience a strong plus
Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree in relevant field or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of account management or similar client-facing experience. Relevant display/fixture industry experience strongly preferred.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal; proven ability to communicate effectively at an executive level
- Proven ability to build strong business relationships
- Forward-thinking, innovative, and action-oriented
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Sporting Goods experience a plus
Physical Requirements - Ability to travel onsite to clients as required
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time
