Role: Production ManagerOverview:Production Managers are responsible for guiding productions through our workflow pipeline, ensuring that all aspects of a production are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The role serves as a production's job owner while footage is being produced, ensuring that projects are resourced and assigned appropriately, and acting as a liaison between client pods and production teams. Production Managers report to the Manager of Production Operations.

Responsibilities:- Receive footage needs and creative briefs on a monthly and weekly basis, along with priority guidelines and budget allocations from Supervising Producers, and effectively translate them into detailed production schedules with workback dates and deadlines for pre-production milestones.
- Work with the rest of the Production Operations team to ensure smooth and proper flow of jobs through the production pipeline - coordinating studio and on-location shoot schedules and resources when possible to maximize effectiveness of the team.
- Effectively communicate production updates to creative stakeholders.
- Manage all logistical and planning elements for a rotating roster of productions:
- Schedule and attend pre-production / kick-off meetings with relevant stakeholders and talent.
- Collaborate with studio operations / creative production staff to ensure proper stages, equipment, people, and products are booked for productions.
- Assist with onboarding freelance content creators, producers, and directors for production bookings, including director/lead, on screen talent, and other support roles as deemed necessary for the shoot.
- Hire freelance support crew (cinematographers, food stylists, PAs, etc) as needed.
- Approve purchases and rentals for productions, ensuring adherence to approved budgets.
- Delegate to Production Coordinators, or complete as needed:
- Work with Casting Associates, Studio Operations staff, and other cross-functional teams to ensure timely procurement and shipping of client products needed for production.
- Ensure all documents pertaining to the production are filled out and accurate; including shot lists, production reports, wrap notes, script notes, etc.
- Coordinate and distribute production schedules, call sheets, etc.
- Collaborate with studio operations to hire freelance crew, as needed.
- Collect releases, permits, and other paperwork as needed.
- Keep up-to-date on general knowledge of payroll law and TS-specific process, including overtime laws, meal penalties, rate cards, kit rentals, mileage and reimbursements.
- Complete purchases and rentals for productions as needed, and log expenses.
- Approve and track all production expenses, rentals and purchases, ensuring adherence to allotted production budgets as set by Supervising Producers and company best-practices.
- Effectively use our project management systems (Monday.com, Float, etc) to accurately communicate the status of jobs in various stages of production.
- Manage and provide budget actuals to relevant stakeholders on a regular basis.
- Comply with and help enforce all on-set safety protocols, set etiquette, and professional conduct standards on all productions.
Required Skills And Qualifications:- 3-5 years of experience in production management/line producing, preferably in film, digital media, or advertising industry
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong customer service and solution oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse team members
- People management experience of at least a year
- Proficiency with project management software (e.g. monday.com, asana, airtable)
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations
- Knowledge of post-production processes (e.g. editing, sound design) is a plus

Location: Los Angeles (Hybrid-in office part-time)
Compensation:TubeScience provides the wage ranges it reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for all remote roles and as otherwise required by applicable law.
The expected range of starting pay for this role is $38 - $40 per hour. Actual compensation may vary within the listed range based on a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, experience, and specific geographic location.
