Your Role:
- Provide clinical leadership and quality psychiatric care to an acute adult inpatient population.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations of psychiatric illnesses.
- Manage psychiatric medications in accordance with best practices, documenting treatment responses.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and successful discharge planning.
Position Highlights:
- Caseload of 10-20 patients per practitioner, with PCP coverage provided.
- Short and long-term length of stay for patients.
- Opportunities to attend court hearings and participate in a variety of treatment modalities.

Minimum Qualifications
- Board Certified / Board Eligible Psychiatrist
- Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy degree and completion of an accredited/approved psychiatry residency training program
- Virginia State Medical License
- DEA Registration
