The Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County is seeking to expand current gynecologic oncology services with the addition of a full-time Gynecologic Oncology Attending. With two da Vinci Xi platforms, protected OR time and an infusion center, Kings County Hospital is primed to expand clinical services in this area.
Kings County Hospital serves 2.6 million residents of Brooklyn and Staten Island. The hospital is academically affiliated with SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University and trains their medical students and OBGYN residents.
Opportunity Details:
- Direct gynecologic oncology care, including chemotherapy, surgery, and management of complex clinical cases
- Gynecologic surgical care, including minimally invasive techniques using the da Vinci system (each platform has 2 consoles)
- Support and consultation to general OBGYN physicians, including difficult benign gynecologic surgical cases
- Experience in radiotherapy for gynecologic malignancies
- Supervision and teaching to residents and medical students
- Ambulatory, inpatient, and telehealth clinical care
- OBGYN and Kings County Hospital Performance Improvement activities
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Board Certified or Eligible in Gynecology Oncology
