Englewood Health, an award-winning community teaching hospital, is seeking a full-time Psychiatrist to join our team in an off-campus outpatient setting.
Englewood Health provides compassionate care for adults and seniors in need of behavioral health services, offering an interdisciplinary approach to treatment. They will provide assessments and individualized treatments designed for positive recovery and restoration of quality of life. The Provider will have the opportunity to practice psychiatry in collaboration with our team of dedicated behavioral health professionals committed to providing high-quality compassionate care in the communities we serve.
The ideal candidate directs patient care, including assessing, diagnosing, planning health promotion and preventive care within this specialized area of practice, and prescribing pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment of health problems according to established medical protocols. In addition to direct practice, the sub-roles of the Psychiatrist include education, research, and consultation and are involved in indirect practice activities with the goal of improving the quality of care across the continuum.
Job Essentials:
- 1-2 years of experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
- Ability to prioritize and strong attention to detail required
Education requirements:
- M.D. or D.O. degree required
License/Certification:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
- Must have a Medical License in the State of New Jersey
- Successful completion of an ACGME-recognized residency program in Psychiatry
