Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team, focusing on the security operations and governance of Internet of Things (IoT) devices (for Fortune Brands these are our products that have connectivity and intelligence to provide additional service, e.g. smart water, door, and security products), as well as providing AI governance from a cybersecurity perspective. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity frameworks, risk management, and policy development, with a particular focus on securing IoT ecosystems and AI systems.
Position location - Remote
Hiring Pay Range: $110,000 - $140,000
*Actual pay will vary based on qualifications and other factors.
RESPONSIBLIITIES:What you will be doing- Develop and implement robust security requirements and solutions for IoT projects, ensuring devices and communications are protected against cyber threats.
- Requirements coming from these standards: NIST, Cyber Trust Mark, and PTSI
- Lead security risk assessments and reviews for IoT and AI systems, identifying vulnerabilities and enforcing compliance with security policy.
- Design and oversee the governance structures for AI systems, aligning AI technologies with organizational security policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security practices into IoT project development and AI system design to ensure Security Best Practices.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in IoT, AI, and security, and apply this knowledge to enhance our security posture.
- Prepare and present reports on AI cybersecurity and metrics to senior management.
- Provide guidance and oversight to FBIN security awareness programs, ensuring stakeholders are informed about the cybersecurity aspects of IoT and AI.
QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS:- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field is highly preferred
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in information security, with a focus on security audits, assessments, governance, and risk management
- Proven experience implementing security controls for AI and IoT systems in corporate environments
- Relevant certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CRISC, or similar is nice to have
- Certifications or work experience with AI and IoT
- Strong understanding of network security, data protection, and application security principles
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex security concepts to a diverse audience
