Job SummaryThe IT Project Manager coordinates the work of project teams to produce/enhance applications and services. The core elements of the job include organizing people and time to ensure projects are seen through from inception to completion. The Project Manager plans, monitors and reports on the project with project management tools, following agile development practices. The Project Manager is the bridge between all parties involved with a project including developers, product owners, and stakeholders. The Project Manager is responsible for coaching these users/groups, ensuring they can properly perform their roles and responsibilities related to the project.

ResponsibilitiesInclude, but are not limited to:
- Organize and facilitate project and scrum events
- Create, present and revise project goals & scope as necessary
- Coach and mentor all parties on their roles and responsibilities related to a project
- Coach and mentor product owners on maintaining a product backlog
- Coach and mentor development teams to be self-organized and effective
- Assist in removing any obstacles blocking project/sprint progress
- Communicate project progress & deliverables to relevant stakeholders
- Manage and ensure accuracy for projects using project management tools such as Jira, DevOps, and MS Project
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree IT or Computer Science preferred or 4 years in a project manager or scrum master position
- 3 years' experience in a project manager/project coordinator role
- 2 years' working in an agile scrum environment
- Knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
- Knowledge of agile methodologies and frameworks, ideally scrum
- Basic knowledge of software development processes and procedures
Required Skills- Strong communication skills (written, verbal, presentation)
- The ability to effectively communicate with people in varying job roles including developers, analysts, product owners, application users, and company leadership
- Understanding the fundamentals of iterative and incremental development
- Strong follow up skills and experience holding project teams accountable to quality
- Strong understanding of the dynamics of cross-functional teams, with the ability to creatively problem solve
- Time management and organization skills
- Proficiency in MS office tools - Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams
Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
- 1 year experience in a Scrum Master role
- Experience in IT delivery and operations
- Experience in organizing a team
- Experience with multiple project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, etc.)
- Experience with project management tools, ideally Jira
Certifications RequiredOne of the following certifications is required for this role. If the selected candidate does not posses the certification upon application, they will be required to attain it within 6 months of beginning in the role.
- Scrum Certification
- PMP Certification
Additional Information- The estimated annual pay range for this position is $100,000 - $120,000. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
