This role may be based in Chicago, Houston, Washington DC, or the San Francisco Bay Area.
We seek a hands-on consulting professional to join the Crisis and Security Consulting department. This role is responsible for client work and delivery of consulting projects within our security risk consulting practice. This position is for a fee-earning consultant who will support clients and other team members across a broad range of projects, with a particular focus on security risk management, risk assessments and security reviews, and security program design and evaluation
Tasks and responsibilitiesClient delivery
- You will be responsible for supporting projects across a broad range of security, intelligence and risk management domains, including activities such as maturity assessments, gap analyses, program and organizational design, program/policy/governance development and implementation, training and exercises, and physical security design and reviews, among other areas.
- Support the development and delivery of presentations or other communications for senior-level clients.
- Maintain technical proficiency in the security industry, sharing knowledge throughout the firm and enhancing the department's current document templates and methodology.
- Support the development of project proposals sales presentations
RequirementsKnowledge and experience
- 2-5 years of work experience in a global security organization or consulting firm.
- Understanding of security programs
- Ability to successfully deliver quality solutions including written products and oral delivery of training and presentations.
- Familiarity with corporate security, risk, crisis management, or intelligence programs desired.
- Familiarity with developing corporate security policies and procedures desired.
- Familiarity with travel security, executive protection, event security, supply chain security and/or security investigations desired.
- Experience with data analytics, risk modeling or similar quantitative work.
Qualifications and specialist skills
- Bachelor's degree
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time and on short notice
- A large degree of flexibility with regards to work schedule and peaks in work intensity
- Exceptional interpersonal communications skills
- Excellent report writing, presentation, project management, time management and prioritization skills
- Ability to multi-task and balance competing requirements while maintaining attention to detail and quality of written work

The base salary range for this position in California is $85,000-$95,000 per year. Exact compensation offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
