Surgical Oncology
The Methodist Cancer Institute and the Department of Surgery at the University pf Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, TN are seeking non tenure-track faculty to join our Surgical Oncology Program. Faculty rank is commensurate with experience and credentials.
Candidates must have completed an accredited residency program, be Board Eligible/Board Certified and committed to providing quality clinical care, teaching and research.
May supervise medical students, residents, and fellows.
In addition to outstanding clinical care, the successful candidate will participate in the education of medical students, residents, and fellows.
This position will provide on-call coverage for the Surgical Oncology division.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidate must be Board-eligible/Board Certified in General Surgery
Committed to providing quality clinical care, student/resident teaching and research
Additional fellowship training and/or certification in Complex General Surgical Oncology is required.

Candidate Information:
- Must be Fellowship Trained
- Board Certified
- Have or will obtain a Tennessee Medical License by start date
- Preference for surgeons with interests/training in Oncology, Trauma, MIS, & Surgical Critical Care
- Must have at least 5 years of Surgical Oncology work experience
