Our Transplant Institute is dedicated to improving the quality of life and the life expectancy for its organ transplant patients through research breakthroughs, excellence in surgical techniques and meticulous post-operative care.  Our program includes an ASTS Accredited Surgery Fellowship.

Responsibilities include pre-operative and post-operative patient care, transplant related surgical procedures, research activity, and resident and fellow education.  A competitive salary, benefits package, and relocation assistance is offered.

Required:

• ACGME Accredited General Surgery Residency
• ASTS Fellowship Training
• American Board of Surgery Certification
• At least 3 years experience with liver and kidney transplantation beyond Fellowship
• Experience with pancreas transplantation is a plus
• Demonstrated interest and experience in clinical research is essential
• The ability to obtain a Tennessee Medical License is also required.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
