The Role

Find and solve practical problems for the data science team using a wide-ranging skillset, from communications, to data analysis, to software engineering.

This role involves a lot of collaboration with colleagues based in the SoHo NYC office. We work hard to make the in-office culture friendly, welcoming and collegial - including providing a daily lunch stipend for those in the office, plenty of snacks and beverages, and high-quality workspaces.
What We Are Looking For
Required:

• 4+ years professional experience, including:
• Strong professional experience in R and Python
• Specific experience translating R to Python a plus
• SQL, including complex joins
• Github
• Experience building applications for non-technical users in Python, deployed to a cloud framework
• Experience discovering pain points and problems in how people work, and getting to root causes in designing solutions
• Strong communication:
• You're all about documentation: creating it anew, modifying the old
• You love the opportunity to speak to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and be the communication bridge between the two
• The ability and willingness to wear multiple hats and switch gears frequently
• Experience training and supporting less technical or less experienced coworkers
• Eagerness and ability to constantly learn and grow

In compliance with New York and California Pay Transparency Law, the salary range for this position is $100,000 - 140,000. We note the salary information as a general guideline only, as actual compensation may vary from posting. We will consider various factors to determine the offer for this role, including the scope and responsibilities of the position, relevant work experience, key skills, training, and business considerations.
