As the Bid Manager for the Digital Grid - Grid Enhancing Technologies (DG GET) organization, you are a key figure when it comes to understanding customer's requirements, providing offers, and closing contracts for the region of Americas.

How You'll Make an Impact
  • Executing bid preparation and management, tendering, and negotiating contracts until signature and approvals for the DG GET organization in the region.
  • Structure costs, calculate prices, and negotiate with customers to guarantee our success in the region.
  • Execute comprehensive loss analysis for unsuccessful bids, seeking to gradually improve lessons learned and overall competitiveness.
  • Feed insights into the DG GET organization to guarantee constant portfolio improvement and customer-centricity.
  • Support the constant improvement of Offer Management processes based on market feedback and experiences.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in engineering, power engineering, electrical engineer, or comparable technical education (equivalent experience may substitute educational requirements).
  • 3+ years of experience and proven success record in similar roles driving new digital products and digital transformation. Technical experience in the energy industry.
  • You are thrilled by new technologies, you understand IoT, digitalization and automation and keep an eye on the latest developments in this space.
  • Strong drive and understanding of digital technology as well as a customer-centric approach!
  • Effective communication with international team members and customers in English, Portuguese, and Spanish. Creativity, ability to work in a team and an honest and open personality!
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
