Certification Details BLS ACLS NIHSS AZ license or compact license Job Details THIS POSITION REQUIRES A FULL 3 YEARS OF ICU EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED. The right candidate will have 3 full years of current ICU experience and hold an active BLS, ACLS, NIHSS and AZ license or compact license. Travelers could also float to the sister facility Mercy Gilbert, if needed. Typically, every other weekend is required but might have to work 3 weekends a month if unit is busy and needs extra coverage. Job Requirements A FULL 3 YEARS OF RECENT ICU EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED Experience must also include EITHER neuro or CV. UNA Dysrhythmia Exam required Travelers must pass a dysrhythmia exam upon offer with 2 max attempts. COVID vaccine is required or declination form with appropriate documentation AND hospital approval. Schedule Information Self scheduling. Manager may need to balance shifts for unit needs. Weekend Requirements: 3 weekend shifts in a 4 week schedule. Nightshift weekends are Friday - Saturday. Dayshift are Saturday - Sunday. Holiday Requirements: May have 1 holiday off in an assignment Unit Specific Information Unit: Medical ICU - Medical Cardiac Overflow Charge Nurse: Yes, do not take patients Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: Yes, 24/7 RT in ICU 24/7: Yes Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Level 1 trauma Center, sepsis, ARDS, etc. Additional Details NO ADDITIONAL CALL/STANDBY SHIFTS REQUIRED. May be low censused up to 3 times per contract depending on unit needs.
