    Job Details
  • A large system in Nebraska/Iowa are looking for Night PCU RN's. 12 hour shifts, 36 hours guaranteed. 2 years of unit experience.
    Job Requirements
  • 2 years of unit experience.
  • RNs required to titrate drips.
  • High flow - RNs required to do troubleshooting.
  • RNs must read and interpret tele monitors
    Schedule Information
  • 12 hour shifts.
  • 36 hours guaranteed.
  • Shifts & Scheduling: 0630-1830, 1830-0630.
  • Weekend Requirements: Every third.
  • Holiday Requirements: Rotating with perm staff.
    Unit Specific Information
  • Common titratable &/or set rate drips: Heparin, Nitro, Dopamine, Cardizem, Amiodarone, insulin.
  • Charge Nurse on each shift, takes an assignment.
  • Nurse aids/patient care techs on unit. Ratios? Duties.
  • Floating Requirements: Yes to MedSurg or to ICU to take PCU acuity patients.
  • Scrub Color/Dress code: Navy Blue.
  • Orientation: 1 week.
    Additional Details
  • Seeking team players who are flexible and adaptable with good communication skills.
  • Serves different cultural populations, primarily Hispanic and Somalian.
  • RNs must be flexible and willing to float and work when needed.
  • Overhead lifts in half the rooms, portable lifts, vein finders, bladder scanner.
  • Focus on patient experience scores, responsiveness, hospital environment, and communication about medications.
  • Radius Rule: 50 miles. Candidates may not be affiliated with any facility associated with CommonSpirit.
