The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, expanding market share, and driving revenue growth across the U.S. This role requires strong leadership, negotiation skills, and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients.
Responsibilities and Duties- Account Management
- Start, maintain, and grow relationships with key national retail, wholesale, and distribution accounts.
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
- Develop a deep understanding of the business objectives for assigned accounts and leverage Westinghouse's capabilities to expand partnership and capitalize on growth opportunities.
- Sales Strategy and Execution
- Develop and implement sales plans, strategies, and initiatives to achieve revenue and profitability goals.
- Identify new sales opportunities within existing accounts and prospects for new business.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g. supply chain, finance, marketing) to tailor solutions that meet the needs of assigned accounts and market demands.
- Forecasting and Reporting
- Prepare and present detailed sales forecasts, performance reports, and market analysis to senior leadership.
- Monitor sales performance against targets, analyze sales data, and adjust strategies as needed to ensure goals are met.
- Market Expansion and Competitive Analysis
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities in the outdoor power equipment industry.
- Propose strategies for product positioning and pricing to increase market share and maintain a competitive advantage.
- Negotiation and Contract Management
- Lead contract negotiations with national accounts, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and conditions.
- Manage pricing structures, terms, and promotions with key accounts to drive sales and profitability.
Qualifications and Skills- Bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in national sales account management, preferably in the consumer-packaged goods space.
- Proven track record of driving sales growth and achieving revenue targets with large retail or wholesale accounts.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze sales data, forecast trends, and develop actionable strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel nationally as required.
