Russell Hendrix Foodservice Equipment is looking to find an
Account Manager for our National Accounts team in
Toronto. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for building and maintaining positive, customer focused relationships with National Account head offices and franchisees, collaborating with multiple internal and external departments to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. You will also negotiate with suppliers and vendors, as well as work with consultants, contractors, and clients. This position requires integrity, vision, professionalism, and is an ideal position for an individual who is a problem solver and can think on their feet.

What You'll Do:- Build and maintain high-level professional relationships, consistently present new ideas and solutions to existing accounts, while managing the expectations of the client.
- Maintain professional relationships with the head office and customer; answer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure a high level of customer service.
- Establish payment terms and negotiate prices, and work with AR to ensure accounts are in good standing. Prepare and review profit analysis reports monthly.
- Effectively communicate across all levels of the organization, including managing and motivating associated departments to achieve goals, and effectively organizing and chairing meetings with senior executives.
- Ensure client customized websites are up to date and reflect accurate prices and terms, as well as increasing/improving web offering.
- Prepare goals and strategically plan for sales; create marketing initiatives to promote increased sales to existing accounts.
- Managing the product list; delisting items, replacements, innovative products, cost savings etc. and properly set up distribution centre's with correct inventory, establishing performance expectations.
- Act as a subject matter expert for the local National Accounts team, and exhibit dedication to continuous improvement of product knowledge.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures and contribute to a healthy and safe workplace.
- Lead the planning and execution on projects of all sizes with little to no oversight from Project Sales Manager
- Assist in the preparation of design documents as well as technical and functional documents and other project reports
- Mentor local project management team to ensure all projects are delivered per specifications and on time
- Act as a subject matter expert for the local National Accounts team
- Define project tasks, timelines and resource requirements
- Assemble and coordinate project staff
- Manage day-to-day operational aspects of the project including participation in site meetings and processing change orders
- Track project deliverables using appropriate tools ensuring all deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations
- Provide direction and support to project team including internal installation team and subcontractors
- Regularly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders
- Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
- Participate in close-out meetings and assess project outcomes and results
- Monitor site safety and ensure that the requirements of the Occupational Health and Safety Act are enforced on site
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
Desired Skills and Experience:- You have a diploma or bachelor's degree in a related field.
- You have at least 4 to 5 years of relevant foodservice knowledge/experience.
- You have outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, and have experience communicating across multiple levels within an organization.
- You have excellent organizational, strategic, planning and implementation skills.
- You are highly proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on Excel and Outlook. Additional experience with Traverser would be an asset.
- You have demonstrated capability of managing many projects/tasks simultaneously.
- You have a strong attention to detail.
- You have strong analytical and numeracy skills.
- You are willing to travel, as required.
- You are self-motivated and are able to work with little supervision.
- You are adaptable, able to work individually and in a team environment.
