Your future starts hereReporting to the VP, People & Engagement, the Manager, Human Resources will be a strategic partner within the organization as well as across the HR Leadership team. You will have the opportunity to manage day to day operations while also contributing to strategic, organization-wide initiatives. We are looking for a self starting, collaborative leader, with a can-do attitude, looking to help accelerate business results through effective people programs. The ideal candidate will have experience in strategy development, organization design, diversity and inclusion, and talent management strategies that support an exceptional employee experience.
You will be responsible and accountable for leading a team of HR Professionals to support the business. This includes, but not limited to, the employee lifecycle including, performance management, coaching, employee relations, succession planning, career development, policy development & adherence, disability management, change management, and promotion of internal programs.
How you will make an impact- Oversee and lead a group of HR professionals to ensure HR is providing the highest quality of service to the organization;
- In partnership with the HR leadership team, develop and drive the implementation of HR strategies and initiatives that align with the business priorities and goals of BioScript Solutions
- Drive and support successful performance management programs and work with the HR team and managers to effectively manage individual performance proactively through the use of training plans, corrective action documentation, and performance feedback;
- Facilitate the consistent application, implementation and improvement of HR policies, processes, and programs;
- Translate near and long-term operating goals into HR processes, projects, and assignments and integrate and initiate the work with key stakeholders and functional partners to ensure appropriate solutions are delivered to support business strategies
- Support and enable the achievement of business strategies by providing proactive insights based on people and organizational strengths and constraints.
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and retention of talent
- Drive people engagement strategies that foster an environment where all employees are respected and valued
- Oversee a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
What you'll bring to our team- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or other related discipline, OR a Certificate in Human Resources, OR equivalent combination of education and experience;
- 8+ years of progressive experience as an HR Business Partner in a high-paced environment;
- 5+ years' experience in an HR leadership position will be considered an asset;
- CPHR designation attained or in progress is highly preferred;
- Previous experience working and/or integrating processes using an HRIS is strongly preferred;
- Experience partnering with various stakeholders in a cross-functional environment;
- Proven track record of delivering results and successfully managing change;
- Sound knowledge of employment laws and practices is required;
- Well-developed critical thinking and problem solving skills; ability to make decisions and work autonomously when necessary;
- Experience in the administration of various HR programs, preferably in an environment where employees were spread out over various geographic areas;
- Strong interpersonal skills, with demonstrated conflict management and resolution skills;
- Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs; and
- Demonstrated ability to identify and contribute to the development of new initiatives, ideas, and approaches to improve our team's processes and systems.
