POSITION SUMMARY:
The Regional Sales Manager is a member of the company's sales team and is responsible for the management of a specific account. The Regional Sales Manager will develop long-term relationships with their customer, connecting with executives and stakeholders. The Regional Sales Manager will liaise between the customer and a cross-functional internal team to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs. The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for the sales function, including market analysis, estimating, pricing, and assistance in developing the business strategy.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters to your customer.
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships and implement strategies for expanding the company s product, service, and integration offerings.
• Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key customer stakeholders and executive sponsors.
• Build the sales funnel by learning and understanding their product, service, and integration needs for the next 3-5 years.
• Develop pricing policies for customer by understanding the value of Diversified Automation product and solutions.
• Ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs.
• Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
• Forecast and track key account metrics, using company tools.
• Understand the company's products and solutions and be able to clearly present value to all customers including other integrators.
Education and/or Experience
• 5 years sales experience in material handling; preferably in sorting
• Bachelor s degree in Business, Engineering or technical field preferred.
• Up to 50% travel.
• Outstanding consultative selling abilities and excellent interpersonal skills with executive level personnel.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a result driven, team-oriented environment.
