Domain: Job Description Campaign Data QA Data Tasks - Initial partner data QA - confirm partner provided spend/clicks/impressions data matches what is displayed in Singular
- Identifying discrepancies across Dalton/Partner/Singular data sets and escalate for further investigation if needed
- Validate that data fixes (run by Singular/Vendor/MM Eng) were successful
QA/Checking for BoF conversions after launch of new placements, vendors
- When new trafficking bases or new vendors are launched/tested, all data needs to be QAed Cirrus/Dalton.
- In the event that BoF does not come through in those reporting files/or that dataset...
- Someone can check to see if that data exists in Singular (but for some reason is not coming through into Dalton file)
Capturing events that would cause major data issues, like Tracking Errors, as notes for Analytics (MANUAL)
- Summary: Sometimes there are issues with datasets (BoF missing) that cannot be fixed. There is not currently a good way to capture/note these events in datasets for historical reference. Examples:
- URLs/Tagging being broken because of Vendor mis-trafficking (biggest/most recent examples from Samsung and Roku for TV+ Disto Marketing)
- Tracking being broken because of LP or UI issues caused by Apple
- App Store: Sometimes the LoB experiences under-deliveries and spend gets re-allocated to another partner - this context is a bit challenging to obtain and it's impact on data can be difficult to discern
Vendor Communications - Partner data repair requests - submit requests to partners to update minor issues w/data (e.g. incorrect Metadata IDs used, data missing for specific dates, etc)
- Partner schema update requests - submit minor schema update requests to vendors and monitor progress
- Confirm existing vendor(s) are capable of providing data for new LOB
- Assist in configuring conversion data sharing w/vendor (e.g. configure postbacks, kick-off
Other - Assist with URL QA requests
- Assist in maintaining data schemas / vendor and lob lookups
- Airtable debugging
