    Job Requirements
  • BLS required
  • Intro to Fetal Monitoring required
  • NRP required
  • Ability to circulate in OR necessary
  • Competency in normal newborn assessments and routine baby care
  • Willingness to float to Postpartum on occasion
    Schedule Information
  • Shifts of 0630-1900, 1830-0700 available
  • Self-scheduling, with accommodation for most schedule requests
  • Every third weekend, potential for up to every other weekend based on unit need
  • 1 major and 1 minor holiday requirement
    Unit Specific Information
  • Charge Nurse available on both shifts
  • Nurse aids/surgical techs duties include 2 OBTs per shift
  • 3 residents and 1 supervising MD on the floor at all times
  • CRNAs on the unit 24/7
  • Nasal cannula RT Equipment with RN troubleshooting
  • Tele in recovery after a c-section with Obix EFM System
  • Willingness to read own strips and monitor tele monitors required
  • 2-3 shifts of unit/department specific orientation
  • Surgical scrubs provided
    Additional Details
  • Attributes for success include teamwork, positive attitude, flexibility, eagerness to learn, open to new challenges, and a great attitude
  • Radius Rule: 50 miles, disqualification if associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity
  • RTO needed upfront, additional RTO not approved post submission
