We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced
Lead Data Scientist to join our growing Data Analytics team. Needs a strong background in data analysis and to be able to effectively communicate complex analytical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences, focusing on our highly profitable Search Engine Monetization business. This role requires a strong background in exploratory data analytics, statistics, data modeling as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.
The Role You Will Have:- Analyze data from search engine marketing campaigns, including keyword performance, ad spend, and conversions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data-driven opportunities and develop strategies to leverage data assets
- Develop and maintain analytical dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators and provide insights to stakeholders
- Analyze data trends and patterns to identify opportunities for improvement and make recommendations to leadership
- Utilize statistical and machine learning techniques to extract insights from data and build predictive models
- Train and mentor junior data analysts and team members on data analysis techniques and best practices
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in search engine marketing and data analysis

What You Bring:- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field (e.g. Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Data Science)
- 8+ years of experience in data analysis and visualization of large data sets
- Subject matter expertise in applicable modeling and statistical techniques for analysis of complex business problems
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python, including Jupyter notebooks and frameworks like Pandas, NumPy, etc.
- Subject matter expertise in industry-standard KPIs (CPA, CPC, ROAS, etc.) and experience establishing new KPIs and success metrics for new problems initiatives
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, and ability to communicate proactively with leaders at all levels of the business
- Subject matter expertise with systems like Snowflake, BigQuery, AWS, or similar data storage tools and how to optimize usage and efficiency for analytic solutions
- Subject matter expertise in data visualization, using tools like Tableau, PowerBI or others to explain & deliver insights to all levels of the business
- Strong technical ability to self-serve data from multiple sources (APIs, databases, etc.) and combine data sets to power models and results

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is
$171,500 - $257,300 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. System1's headquarters is located in Marina del Rey, CA with additional offices in Bellevue, WA and Guelph, ON, Canada. Employees near office locations are returning to the office. Location-specific policies and available accommodations will be discussed during the interview process.
