POSITION SUMMARY:Oversees the day-to-day operations of production employees including training and development, estimating personnel needs, assigning work, and ensuring consistent application of company policies. Provides leadership, coaching, and mentoring to Supervisors. Ensures processes and procedures are updated and created with new product launches.

- Manage the activities of the shop floor under the direction of the Operations Director following established processes and procedures
- Oversee Operations to ensure safety
- Develop plan and champion to help operations run smoothly, efficiently while providing growth plan
- Evaluate, recommend, and implement improvements in methods and processes to increase productivity, throughput, profitability, and quality
- Supervise all production operations to ensure priorities within schedule are met
- Responsible for production tooling maintenance
- Execute production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products
- Participate in cross-departmental inventory control procedures
- Partners with Customer Service, Warranty, and additional departments as needed to support customers
- Participate in safety committee and ensure safe operational practices
- Backup supervisory personnel and coordinate schedules
- Other duties as assigned including training others on known processes
HOURS:This is a full-time 40 hour per week role working four ten-hour days Monday - Thursday between the hours of 6:00am and 6:00pm. Occasionally longer hours or additional days may be required.
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:- Bachelor's Degree in Management, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in assembly/manufacturing leadership
- Proficiency in reading and writing in English
PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:- Master's Degree in Business Administration, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
- HVAC/R knowledge
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, ETC:- Must be able to communicate effectively with individuals at multiple levels from production employees through ownership in verbal and written forms
- Requires working knowledge of accounting methods and cost control procedures
- Able to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical interference
- Able to apply concepts such as algebraic formulas, fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical solutions
- Must be able to give direction quickly when production schedule or labor schedule varies from plan
- Must be able to help plan new product introduction with engineering
- Able to solve practical problems
- Must be highly self-motivated, work with minimal supervision able to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

WORK ENVIRONMENT:The performance of this position may occasionally require exposure to the manufacturing areas where under certain areas require the use of personal protective equipment, may work near moving equipment, and exposed to dust, odors, oil, fumes, and noise.
